Everyday Athletes

That’s me… standing 4’11 with the biggest heart out there in the Championship today. the whole game was on me, i was double teamed, triple teamed, tripped. i had probably had 18 points. 3 seconds left and down by one, i had to prove i was the best. being double teamed and going straight to the basket, the ball swirled around the basket…. but fell out. the score was 27-26. that was my fault. the say there’s no “I” in team, but there’s an “I” in WIN… something i didn’t do. i feel bad. i let my team down. but i’ll be back for more next year in high school then later in Notre Dame… then hopefully the WNBA.. hopefully

^ You probably don’t want to hear this but honestly that wasn’t your fault. You gave it your all and that is the only thing that matters. I’m proud of you for staying positive. You said it yourself, you got another year of hs basketball. Give it your all and leave it all out on the court. You have big dreams and I’m hoping for the best <3 !
